An optin page promises something. A checklist, a report, a swipe file. Most tools stop there and leave you to go and write it somewhere else, which is why so many optin pages sit unfinished for weeks.
The Lead Magnet PDF button sits above the preview on the Build screen. It writes the report here, from the funnel's own brief, and links it on your download page for you.
How it works, step by step:
- Press Lead Magnet PDF above the preview.
- Fill in What Should It Cover, or leave it empty. Empty is fine: the AI works from the funnel brief and the promise your optin page already makes.
- Press Write It With AI. You get a title, a subtitle, an introduction, chapters and a closing section.
- Edit anything. Every part is a normal text box, so you can rewrite a chapter, retitle it, or delete what you do not want.
- Press Rewrite With My Notes when a whole pass needs redoing rather than a tweak.
- Press Generate The PDF. It renders and attaches itself to the funnel.
The clickable button inside the PDF:
Set Button Text and Button Link and the finished PDF carries a real clickable button, twice: once after the introduction and once at the end. Readers click it straight from the PDF.
This is the whole point of a lead magnet, so do not leave it empty. Point it at your offer, your calendar, or the next step in the funnel.
Where the PDF ends up:
- It links itself on your download page, so somebody who just opted in has it immediately
- It is a file on your own site, so you can also email it, put it in a members area, or hand it out anywhere else
- Save My Edits keeps your text without re-rendering. Generate The PDF does both
You can also dictate the notes instead of typing them. There is a microphone next to the What Should It Cover box in any browser that supports it.
A note on cost:
Writing the report is an AI call like any other, billed by your own provider at their prices. It shows up on the AI Usage card on the Connect AI tab with exactly what it cost.
